We are looking for an experienced driver/mechanic to become our Fleet Coordinator based in Cusco, Peru. We have a fleet of 14 Mercedes Benz vehicles of varying ages and models in South America and the Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for all Fleet and Driver management.

The role involves:

• Keeping truck paperwork (route notes, servicing records, driver stationery etc) and truck permits up to date.
• Recruitment, training and supervising of drivers
• Overseeing maintenance of vehicles and ensuring that servicing and maintenance is at a high standard
• Sourcing vehicle parts and camping equipment
• Using fleet management software to ensure the fleet runs cost effectively and efficiently

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Competent in all aspects of truck mechanics
• Computer literate and have good written skills
• Good numeric skills for financial management
• Able to think logically and analytically
• Flexible and able to make decisions quickly

Ideally you should also:
• Have experience as an overland driver
• Speak Spanish
• Have extensive knowledge of Latin America
